Description:OEM Medical Device Key Account Manager, Specialty Chemicals or Polymers

We are seeking someone with a sales background in specialty chemicals or polymers calling on medical device manufacturers. Our client serves the medical device, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical market. With over 7,000 products ranging from drug delivery systems to surgical heart devices, our client is making a difference in the lives of patients every day.
Location: Boston, MA; Worchester, MA, Cambridge, MA or Philadelphia, PA
Base Salary: $150-185K with a sales incentive plan targeting 25%.
Requirements:
- Experience with needs based selling.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 years of B2B sales, with at least 8 years directly managing key accounts in resins, polymers, specialty chemicals or engineered materials.
- Experience in the medical device industry, including knowledge or regulatory standards, biocompatability, and product development cycles.
- Strong technical foundation in medical polymers/ materials with ability to discuss material properties, regulatory requirements and testing protocols.
Responsibilities: Sales to Medical Device Industry
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field from an accredited institution.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience in consultive sales, marketing, or product management. Experience with speciality chemicals, polymers or medical device industries. Experience selling in to medical device companies.
Travel/Sales Territory: 50%
